Very Berry Salad

Place mixed greens in large bowl.  Add can of drained mandarin oranges, 1/3 cup dried cranberries and ½ cup *sugared walnuts, chopped.

In a 2 cup measurer, combine ¼ cup sugar, 2 Tbsp cider vinegar, 2 Tbsp honey, 1 ¼ tsp lemon juice, ½ tsp paprika, ½ tsp grated onion, ½ tsp dry mustard and ¼ tsp celery seed.  Microwave 1 ½ minutes and stir until sugar is dissolved.  Whisk in 1/3 cup oil, cover then refrigerate until ready to serve.  Pour over salad.


*To sugar nuts:  Place 3 Tbsp sugar in skillet.  Add nuts and stir until sugar is melted and nuts are coated. Pour out onto waxed paper to cool.
